The Lifecycle of a Strap

The Core: T-700 Recycled Nylon

Why use virgin plastic when we can repurpose what already exists? Our straps utilize high-tenacity recycled nylon sourced from post-industrial waste. It's not just "green"—it's 40% more abrasion-resistant than standard webbing. We treat it with a PFC-free water repellent right here in our New York facility to ensure it handles the sleet as well as it handles the sun.

Forged in the Clouds: Aerospace Aluminum

Our buckles aren't cast in bulk overseas. They're precision-milled from 7075-T6 aluminum scraps reclaimed from the aviation industry. Every buckle tells a story of flight before it ends up securing your gear on a trail in the Adirondacks. Have you ever wondered why most belts feel flimsy? It's usually the hardware. Ours is built to outlast the pants you wear it with.

"Sustainability isn't a marketing buzzword for us; it's the raw materials of our legacy."

Voices from the Trail

"Finally, a belt that doesn't slip during a 10-mile hike. The recycled nylon feels incredibly premium."

Sasue L.

Outdoor Enthusiast

"I've been wearing my Ascent strap for 14 months through three seasons of trail work in the Hudson Valley. Not a single fray. Knowing it's made from reclaimed aviation metal makes the durability even more impressive. You'll never need another belt."
